Remmezo is a traditional Italian restaurant in Ormond. They serve a wide range of pizza, pasta and desserts. We went there on a double date on a Saturday night. The service was top notch, our waiters and waitress always making good suggestions.
I had the Penne Matriciana. It had fresh pasta, a nice amount of bacon, and delicious capsicum, tomato and chilli sauce.
Janeca had the Linguini Di Mare (Seafood Linguini). The dish had prawns, calamari, mussels. The prawns were nice and juicy in particular. Served with a touch of olive oil.
For dessert, we had “Mediterranean” Loukoumades. (We know they are Greek, not Italian. 6 nice big ones with crushed walnuts and honey. Great stuff! Also a “Triple Chocolate Mouse Slice”, was rich and chocolatey. So intense we could not finish it!
The restaurant was packed on Saturday night. The was quite a bit of noise, but they could maybe get some better sound insulation. The lighting was dimmed, which made for a nice mood, but tough for photography! They prices were very good, most dishes around $20-$30 and good serving size.
If you want great Italian food in the Ormond area, it’s worth visiting Remezzo.
Thanks guys 🙏
