Seoulja Boy is a cool Korean fusion restaurant with Japanese influences. Bright neon light illuminates the expansive dining hall. There is a DJ booth which comes alive for those who visit later in the night.

Starting off with a Beach Please cocktail. Fruity and sweet. Would be nicer served in a cocktail glass. They have a great range of cocktails, so have to try a different one next time….. or just have this again. It was so delish!

The pork dumplings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Served with a more-ish salty sauce. After struggling to steam her own dumplings last night, Janeca definitely appreciated these babies. Recommended.

The pork belly baos were just ok. Maybe they needed a bit more hoisin sauce…

The Kkochi platter is a perfect sharing dish. Each of the skewers has sweet or mildly spicy sauce. I recommend using cherry tomatoes as a pleasant palate cleanser between the different skewers. The chicken skin wasn’t to my liking, bit too fatty. The rice cakes SOOOOOO good. Satisfyingly chewy and popping with unique Korean spices.
The waiters were really nice. At first they couldn’t find our booking, but the manager sorted it out quickly. Dimmi ran a half price dining promotion, so we had 50% off food that night. Sometimes restaurants don’t give good service to such customers, so it was a pleasant surprise to have the full-service experience here. Since we enjoyed so much of the food, drinks and vibe at Seolja Boy, we’ll definitely be back for round 2!
