We were visiting Sandringham Hospital for birthing classes, and were looking for a quick bite in the area. In nearby Black Rock, we checked Mama’s Kitchen. Mama’s Kitchen is one of those local restaurants that seem to serve everything! Burgers, salads, halal snack packs, pizza, pasta and dessert. If you name it Mama probably serves it.

I ordered a Capricciosa pizza without cheese. The pizza had a thin and crispy base, and the toppings were fresh. My only feedback would be they were way to generous with the ham.

Janeca ordered the grain salad, but was served the Greek salad. The ingredients were fresh, but they were too heavy on the feta. Less is more Mama!

Mama’s Kitchen has a nice fitout, clean environment and comfortable seating.
