Gyoza Gyoza is a Japanese dumpling bar in the heart of Emporium Shopping Centre in the CBD. It serves a range of dumplings, sashimi, salads and fried snacks, all priced at $6.80. Reminds me of Daiso, the Japanese store which sell everything for $2.80!

I ordered the lunch special. It included juice pork and garlic gyoza, a fresh wafu salad, a wholesome soba noodles & hot miso soup. All the dishes had generous portion sizes.

Topped off with a refreshing iced Yuzu drink! Yuzu is like a Japanese lemon or grapefruit.

The fried octopus was really crispy, and had rich mayonnaise on the side. Definitely order these babies!

For dessert I had the Tropical Garden. This dessert dish includes a seasonal fresh fruit surrounding a luscious Osmanthus jelly. The yellow soil on dish was a bit dull, but otherwise a beautiful finale to the meal.
The restaurant was full of happy customers by the time I’d finished my meal, which is always nice to see. If you’re looking for affordable Japanese food in Melbourne, I’d recommend visiting Gyoza Gyoza!
