Hot Star Fried Chicken is a great Taiwanese street food vendor in the heart of Melbourne. They sell fried chicken, fried mushrooms and even fried squid!

Their signature item is the large fried chicken. It’s huge, the size of my head and sells for just $9. The meat is so juicy and tender. You can choose from 6 salt flavours – (Salt and Pepper, Chicken Salt, Chilli, Cajun, Plum & Cumin.)

I also got a serve of fried mushrooms. These were so succulent, with a great crunchy batter.

I’ve been visiting this stall for years. It’s fast, cheap and delicious. A must-visit for Melbourne’s fried chicken lovers.
