Mama Lor is a family friendly Filipino restaurant & bakery in Werribee. They serve classic Filipino fare, including soups, grilled & BBQed meats, curries, noodles and dessert. We’ve been there a few times when Janeca wants a taste of home.
Some of our favourite dishes are:
Sizzling Sisig: Seasoned pork cuts, onions, capsicum served on a sizzling hot plate. We added the egg. This classic dish is delicious and perfect to share.
Inihaw Na Pusit: Grilled squid stuffed with onion and tomato. The squid was fresh cooked to perfection. Loved it
Lumpia Sarwia: Janeca’s Favourite – Fresh vegetable spring roll with camote (sweet potato) and chopped peanuts
Pinakbet: Sauteed mixed vegies, including okra, pumpkin & eggplant. Tangy and refreshing
Halo-Halo: This decadent dessert has shaved ice topped with sweetened beans, coconut strips, gulaman jelly, pinipig rice crunch with leche flan and ube ice cream. It’s the best!
