Last night I visited Tavlin, an Israeli restaurant that I haven't been to in aaaaages. They've got a fresh new fitout, and a new menu since my last visit.
We had a selection of dishes to share. The red cabbage was well prepared, falafels were warm and not too oily. The laffa bread is made on site in their tandoor. It was so fluffy!
Adi's corn salad was so popular we asked for another same size serving. The waitress said they the small service is only available in a 3 or 6 pack, but she made it happen regardless. (A good customer service attitude). The Morrocan carrot salad is great laffa stuffer.
The highlight of the meal was the Moroccan beef cigars. Flavoursome spiced beef is a crispy pastry. You've got to try these.
With great Israeli food and friendly customer service, I'd definitely recommend a visit to Tavlin.
