Friday is finally here, and Janeca & I were looking for a feast before watching Justice League. We saw the great big neon sign for San Antone at Crown, and it just drew us in!

We started off with a 3 meat combo. Our first choice was tender beef brisket, with a great rub flavour. The pulled pork was so juicy and went great with a rich BBQ sauce. Finally the smoked 1/4 chicken delicious with its crispy skin. On the side was some Southern Greens, which were a bit watery and bland. Also a rich Texas beef chilli, this side is a strong thumbs up!

We finish up with some loaded fries. The crispy fries went down well with saucy pulled pork, but they didn’t put nearly enough pico de gallo on the dish.

Between 5-7pm they have $10 margaritas. I got the passionfruit & lychee option, and Jan got the Chuck Norris margarita! It was so powerful it broke the camera. They were some drinks, perfect way to finish the night.

The staff were all very helpful, I only wish they had some more on, as the restaurant was packed full. If you like your meat cooked slow and low, you should pay a visit to San Antone.
