After a beautiful day exploring Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden, our friend recommended lunch at Proserpina Bakery. They serve a range of pies, sandwiches and cakes.

I tried their meat pie. It had flakey pastry, lots of tender beef inside and a great tomato relish one the side. It was one of the best pies I’ve ever tasted. And only $8!

Janeca had the sausage roll, which had a yummy pork filling, and tomato relish. A good deal at $7.5

They also have a large larder / store offering local wine, chocolate and cheese.
