Riché cafe is an Asian-fusion cafe in Bridge road, Richmond. They serve breakfast classics, curries and poke bowls alongside coffees and smoothies.
The menu has an allergy guide, with lots of dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Super handy. Honestly in 2020, every restaurant should have them.
The first thing you notice is when you walk in is this cafe is LIT. Really well and evenly lit. It’s a Grammer’s dream. The dishes are beautifully presented, so take advantage of it!
I tried the slow cooked lamb shank in red curry, polenta chips, baby corn, cherry tomatoes, Granny Smith apple and spring onions.
This dish was simply delicious, the intense curry flavour mixing so well with the duck and tomatoes. The polenta chips were crispy and salty. I did use them to soak up some up the curry, but it was better to eat them separately.

My mate Michael had the Riché Burger. With beef brisket patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, homemade mustard sauce served with thick cut chips. He really liked it. I stole a few chips, they were nice.

The service was welcoming and helpful considering it was our first time. We had such a good experience, I’m sure it won’t be our last!
