L.A. Burgers is a recent addition to Melbourne’s well-established burger obsession. Located opposite South Yarra train station, they have a large range of beef and chicken burgers, complemented by shakes and frozen custard ice-cream.
We both tried their PCH burger. Beef pattie, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard, ketchup & mayo. Most importantly, no cheese! Yay. I added bacon, because bacon rocks. The burger looked great from one side, and ugly from another, so I included both photos. The burger patties were juicy and fresh, nice salty bacon, and the sauces really elevated the whole burger. For $10.50 it was seriously good value.
We also had some sides. Their sweet potato fries were well seasoned, and not overcooked. Potato gems were fluffy moist pillows of carb goodness.
If you in the mood for burgers and fries, it’s worth checking out L.A. Burgers.
